Reimagining Helper’s Train Depot & Grounds

The Helper Project is working on a proposal to redevelop and repurpose the area surrounding the Helper City Train Depot.

The ongoing project would include making improvements to the land behind the businesses on Main Street, such as paving the road, and creating a barrier between the road and railroad tracks to increase safety.

As part of the beautification of Main Street, The Helper Project purchased 11 new commercial grade trash receptacles.

Children hold a few of the almost 200 books donated to the Helper Public Library. This was The Helper Project's second large donation of books to the library, which were a gift from the extensive collection of 94 year-old Salt Lake City resident, John Morgan.
